Let's build a future where every person's rights are truly protected, our economy thrives in peace, and  our society flourishes with both health and opportunity.

Restoring Our Freedom & Unity

In the last several years, Americans have suffered a significant loss of freedom. During the Covid era, many of Americans' long-held rights were suspended: freedom of speech and the right to assemble were just two of the areas impacted, and mass censorship & surveillance continues in rampant fashion throughout independent media to this day. As so many people have already noted throughout our political spectrum, the U.S. Constitution is under attack.

And even though many surveys indicate that up to 70% of Americans want to stop the endless wars coming out of the Pentagon, our Congress and White House keep bombing foreign countries at will.

Together, we demand:

• An End to Foreign Wars (without Citizen/Congressional Approval)

• Repeal of the Patriot Act & Surveillance State

• Reversal of Citizens United & Reform of Campaign Finance Laws

• Direct Democracy, based loosely upon the Swiss model

• Representative Taxation - citizens can earmark a % of their taxes to go to the issue area of their choice

Affordability & Making Vermont Livable for All

Over the last few years the cost of living in America has increased dramatically. Inflation is soaring & housing costs have risen by ~75%. Just this year in Vermont we are experiencing double-digit % increases in property tax, energy, health care, and state motor vehicle fees - all of  which threatens the viability of the middle class to stay here.

And while climate change is a major issue contributing to these increased costs, we believe UN Agenda 2030 and the goals of the World Economic Forum can be addressed on a more human scale. We do not believe that you should "own nothing and be happy" - as the WEF has stated - and that we can provide common sense solutions that defy the sometimes draconian tactics they are applying to mandate their policies.

Together, we believe:
• Stemming the national deficit is critical - stop mortgaging our kids future
• Corporations must pay a much greater share of taxes
• Small Businesses should be given opportunities to survive in a hyper-capitalist environment
• Repeal of recent unaffordable laws in Vermont is required if we don't want to turn into what the poet David Budbill described as a "state of native slaves"

Health

Our environmental and physical health, and that of our children, has been declining for over a generation in America, with diabetes & autoimmune diseases skyrocketing, simultaneous with a significant drop in life expectancy rates. The poisons in our food, drugs, air and water are, at this point, acknowledged as a by-product of our way of life, and our health care system is often cynically called a "sick care system" because corporations selling food, drugs and health care are incentivized to retain a strong customer base. It is incentivized to keep people sick.

As a result of this profit-at-all-costs philosophy, we have a health care ecosystem that is systemically broken and Americans are led to believe that it is unfixable, so everyone just throws up their hands. But we will not throw up our hands. We can do better.

Together, we will work:

• To end the spread of toxins like glyphosate and GMOs, chemicals banned in dozens of countries around the world, especially in Europe

• To support small farmers, diversified and regenerative agriculture, and stop subsidies to massive factory farms and CAFOs

• To create strong regulations around food and medications developed by Big Pharma and promoted by the AMA and FDA

• To support legislation banning student cell phone use in schools

• To demand Body Autonomy and the Freedom of Choice

• To adopt the Universal Declaration of Human Rights & support basic rights for ALL people
